Who I am?
My name is Alex and I am former Assistant Director of Admissions at a prestigious dental school. Before that I served as health professions advisor at a major university. Helping motivated pre-dental students achieve their dream has been the highlight of my career. At times my only wish is that I didn’t pursue dentistry myself!
I founded Dental Admission Strategies® after growing tired of rejecting hundreds of applicants each admissions cycle, not because they lacked the academic ability or motivation to become a successful dentist – but because they did not frame their application in a manner consistent with the expectations of the admissions committee. As dental admissions have grown increasingly competitive over the years, this frame has only grown more rigid.
